- In writing by way of letter
- Online via the NHS app
- Patient Access. For details on how to log on to this service, please speak to us at reception. Sign in to Patient Access.
Alternatively you can access these services through the My GP app. More information about how to access this service.
We need 48 hours/two working day's notice in order to process your request. In exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the doctor, we are able to process prescriptions urgently.
If you have put in a repeat prescription request, after 48 hours please check with your nominated pharmacy if it has been issued.
Our Practice Policy, which follows NHS guidelines on stockpiling and wastage, is to issue not more than two months supply of medication in one go. Please ask to see a copy of our Practice Policy for full details.
Local pharmacies may also be able to help with prescription requests.
Please note, due to medico-legal reasons we cannot accept prescription requests over the telephone.
